THE BUTLER FAMILY FOUNDATION
We Need Your Support
When my wife, Christine, and I began the journey that led us to The Butler Family Foundation we had no idea how much of an impact it would make on our lives. We have been so blessed to become a part of our Heroes’ lives and it is an honor to call them a part of our family.
The journey was made ever so special by a wonderful young lady named Madison. Madison was our first Butler Family Hero and she is a shining example to all who follow her. After we completed the training of Madison’s service dog, she wanted to help our next Hero, so she began going door to door in her neighborhood collecting loose change. By the end of her efforts she had raised over $900.00 to pay it forward to the next child in our program. Since that day, we have made that effort an integral part of our program. Each family that we have worked with has tirelessly supported us and the children that follow them – giving each child an opportunity to focus on helping another instead of being helped.
This road has been both beautiful and painful so far. We have been blessed to help 5 children to date. Our hardest moment was when we lost our sweet Hero, Kyle Murray, to brain cancer but his memory lives on with us. We want to help kids that might otherwise be turned away from other groups. We want to work on the hard issues and take on the cases that others shy away from. We don’t always have a road map when we begin but we are there to develop it and share it so that others may follow in our path. We would be honored to have you join our family by donating, sharing, and helping spread the word. We cannot do this without you.
HOW WILL YOUR DONATION HELP?
Your donation will also help support our foster dog program which allows us the opportunity to rescue dogs from kill shelters that have the potential to be service dogs. Additionally, your donation will aid our research and development team who continue to push the boundaries of service training for dogs. With your help, we will continue to create training protocols for our multi-purpose service dogs that give us the possibility to share this groundwork with other trainers around the globe.
